Christopher McDermott also won his first 10/U Novice title on the weekend at Victoria Park.
Hannah Hwa defeated Sabrina Woll in a close Quarter Final 6/4 before eventually losing in the Final of the Girls 12/U Novice Event

The HKTA hold junior tournaments throughout the year at many venues. The tournaments are for novices and the step up is the Junior series. Novice events are a great way to introduce younger players to tournament tennis to get a taste of competition.Players progress from the novice to the junior series and receive ranking points for both levels of tournaments attaining a national ranking and the chance to represent Hong Kong at tournaments throughout Asia.
